SPU Welcomes New Vice President of 多样性, Equity, and Inclusion
Dr. Sandra Richards Mayo from Azusa Pacific University has been named the new vice president of 多样性, 股本, and inclusion at 西雅图 Pacific University. This new senior leadership position is part of SPU’s ongoing plan to strengthen 多样性 and reconciliation efforts on campus. She will begin her new role on July 1, 2017.
Richards Mayo is currently an associate professor and director of the doctoral program in educational leadership at Azusa Pacific University. Her academic and administrative roles have focused on social justice, 多样性, 和股票, and her scholarly work has explored historical perspectives on racial disparities. 在APU的时候, she also served as associate dean for academic affairs in the School of Education, with primary responsibility for student academic support, curricular management, and faculty development.
